So are you just mad about the "mod only" and "non-mod" (locked) threads in SRIC?

I personally haven't handed out a single warning point/ban and any other warning points I've seen handed out have been completely justified and in line with the wishes of the site owner.

Yeah, I'm honestly confused. I'm the same way. I'm not giving out warning points, I'm not banning people or screwing with them in any way, I'm joking around with the people I assumed were my friends.

Russ, I want you to honestly think about what you're saying. People have been making "omgBAN" jokes for years, and now you're making a federal case about it? A thread that's started as a parody of a joke thread gets locked as a part the same joke and you're pointing it out as overmoderation?

I really, honestly, don't get it. Did I miss someone getting banned, or valuable (non-gag) threads getting locked or something? How are we supposed to act as moderators on a forum when every single post a mod makes is subject to being taken out of context and *****ed about? Why can everyone make jokes besides us, are we not a part of the community anymore? We aren't people's friends anymore because we're in a position to help other areas of the site?

I don't get it.
