seems that was the problem, stupid focking hp bios will only let you boot off their recovery cd....... f uck you HP

Are you sure the drive is el torrito enabled?

Kids these days. On a side note I just went through this with the wifes PC. I had to make the boot floppies. MS says that won't be an option with Vista. Boo.

our entire office is floppy-less.
we had a client bring one in w/ their logo and we had to call around to find someone with a floppy for us to take it to to email the file in.
