How do I file for unemployment?

I quit/was let go today.
Never been on The Dole before and don't know how get me some of that free money.

So, how do I sign up?
Where do I go?

UnEmp sux...was on it for 4 months about 2 years ago...horrible

^^ what they said. the process is actually pretty easy (which will probably **** you off to no end). But, you must be terminated against your will to qualify. If your employers are going to say you quit... you may not be eligible.

you'll still be eligable if you quit...but you won't get as much...

oh and do not forget to fill out and return all the paperwork ASAP...i did mine the day it was due and the checks stayed on a reg sched...but i missed one by a few days and the check was delayed two weeks...kinda sucks when you're already stretching the budget in those situations.

they got rid of the lines it's all over the phone now. i get my gov $$$ til october.
