How Can I Make My WRX More Throaty

Ok so my 2002 WRX is stock. I was wondering what are the best mods to make it sound a little more throaty. I don't want to putt-putt through a parking lot or anything like that and I don't really want any exterior changes. Just something that will deepen the sound a tad bit. Any suggestions?

exhaust... cat back will get you sound, turboback will get you sound and power (although turboback's are not technically legal).

i highly recommend Stromung's 3" twin tip setup. looks almost stock and sounds amazing. RussA has that setup, i used to have one.

Just run a straight pipe. Cheap and effective.

nurspec is overkill!

for a sound that's slightly meaner than stock, go with stromung for stealth or prodrive for a clean look.

How difficult is it to remove the muffler? And how loud would this make it? I wouldn't mind making mine a little more throaty, but I don't have the cash to spend at the moment on an exhaust.
