it keeps timing out...

the files are LARGE! it's 35 & 44 min (66MB & 98MB) clips of the drive...
it's almost constant turns/twisties so there's not much editable space...
but i guess they could be broken up into parts.

if i had more time i'd mess with them, but i've really never tried to do anything w/ video before.

the only way i got them is Kostamojen send them via my works FTP upload site. but i have no means to host something that large.

wonder if i could break it up into parts in iMovie....
hmmm...too bad i'm swamped!

FYI, I got one of my older, smaller videos of the same roads posted on fanatics:

i'd def recommend mosquito ridge...had never done it before but it's awesome!
we did 49>foresthill>mosquito ridge>eleventy-million US forestry roads (you'll have to ask Kostamojen the exact turns cus i'm amazed we made it thru...)>wentworth>icehouse>50.

i was way stoked on mosquito ridge...and very little traffic...we only passed 2 cars the entire time...

GV rd>193 will def have more traffic for sure plus you don't get to try mosquito ridge...
beautiful run.
def worth making a little extra time for!

Salmon falls was ok at 6:30am on a saturday... But it can get VERY busy, and its well monitored now too due to alot of accidents and such.

I'd suggest for the bikes to just go up the 193-wentworth-icehouse trip, I dont think road bikes would enjoy 11 Pines road too much (the cutover from mosquito ridge to wentworth, its kinda rough)

It wasnt that hard to get lost, minus those two intersections that poped up on 11 pines that had no indication of whether we stayed on the main road or turned off That scared me a bit too, but I figured as long as we stayed straight and didnt turn off we would make it and we did

FYI I used google earth to figure out about where we were going to be on that road.

Mike ive decided i'm going to divide the wentworth section from the ice house section so maybe I can get the wentworth part posted since its alot shorter.
