Houses for rent down the hill a bit?
I posted this in BAIC as I figure that's more likely, but just to be sure....
Looking to move on short notice (middle/end of June), I'm checking all the usual suspects, but I figured I'd ping here as well. Need a 2-3 bedroom place that's ok with a couple of well-behaved indoor cats. I'd prefer the Vallejo/American Canyon area; I'll be commuting to Sac and my other half will be driving to Alameda, so I'm trying to find something in the middle. Anything else that fits that general area (trying to keep commutes under about 65 miles if I can help it) would be cool too.
I know lots of people have friends/family who do the rental property thing; hook a brudda up if you know of something? PM is cool, just figure I'll cover all my bases.
Thanks, guys. Ben, if you know of something, or have some networking down in that are, we're trying to stay under $1500ish.

Thanks, man. My girl is giving me grief about Stockton at the moment (bad expereinces there when she was younger or something) but I appreciate knowing there's something available.

Stockton's like a lot of places. The old parts of town suck ***, but the new ones are nice. If you pay attention to the geography of your house/apartment and where you have to go for groceries, etc. you can stay in a very nice area pretty easy. And prices are pretty good there.

Yeah, but it makes for a pretty long drive for both of us (she'll be working in Alameda) and at least I know people in the Vallejo area. Plus, it's near the rest of my family if they need anything :|
