**** that picture is me! hahahahah i sucked ***** yesterday! my best(last run) 60' was 2.0 and i only ran 14.5. @ 96.8 mph. i need more practice. i'm goin out again next time. car felt weak! it ran like a champ on the way home though...it was also much cooler and i think standing still is no good for a tmic. excuses, excuses, excuses. here's one more, my in car temp deally said 101 most of the day.

my first runs(pic) were like 15.1 or 15.2 w/2.3 60'. it was bad. funny thing is, i ran 14.0 @ 100 in fontana(before adding the 05 sti header) with the same ****ty 2.2 60ft and 20+mph head wind. i saw 2.0ltr rexes w/tbe run 88mph traps, so that didn't make me feel too bad.

i heard that the uppipe(as well as the header) on the 05 sti is different than the previous models. does anyone know if this is true? i do have an exhaust leak which i haven't tracked down.

Yah the heat was probably killing your times with the tmic, bring a fat bag of ice with you next time... Seems like most of the wrx drivers i see at sac raceway have no effing idea how to drive... *cough* jeremy *cough* actually the only good one i remember seeing was macias :rotfl: thats just not right

yah i saw you had sum good launches, only 1 other car, an sti with a 12.59 dial in was launching correctly from what i could tell.. all the other subies there just could not launch for their life... a grey sti and a red evo lined up, so i was like yah evo vs sti yah! but they both bogged so bad they almost stalled out the hole and both wound up running like 15s lol.. every1 was slow but like i said i was impressed with your and that fast sti runs.. i woulda ran my car but i was ill-prepared, next time tho.. if this trend keeps up, im gonna embarass sum stis and evos in my "stockish" bugeye haha

Yeah its really a sad situation.... i dont understand why you would even go to the track if you arent going to go as fast as you can... isnt that the whole point?

i'm gonna power shift through all my gears and launch my car like a **** next time. the heat was really, really bad. i raced a rx8 my first run and i could barely run him down. barely. it seemed like my car lost a 100hp in the heat.
