That thing seems a bit over priced in my book. Is it really worth all the hype?

Have you tried the "Dewey test" to see if it looses suction lol.

I disagree. The other vacuum I have is a $100 bagless model. It's ok, however after using it for about a year or more you can tell it's losing a bit of its effectiveness. Additionally, the attachments on it don't function all that great, the HEPA filter and can are a pain in the *** to clean and empty.

After cleaning the floors with the Dyson, there is a noticeable difference. The attachments that came with it, one of which is specifically designed for picking up animal fur works like magic. I used it on the cat tree and the cat tree looks damn near new. The Dyson is quieter than our other vacuum and the can is easy as hell to empty. Also, the filters require less frequent cleaning and are easier to clean when have to do it.

At this point, I'm sold on the Dyson. We'll see how it does over time.
