Man.. people are refriggincockulous! Someone stole the catalytic converter off my friends' 94 4-runner yesterday afternoon at my apartment complex while we were out on the back patio bbq'in. At least they were "considerate" enough to just unbolt it and not hack it off.

Anyone know of a place (or someone) that'd weld a couple of flanges to a straightpipe for cheap (without trying to sell him a new cat) so it at least doesn't sound like a friggin' tank?

vehicles like that are getting hit a lot because they are higher off the ground and easy to get under.

"Actually officer, I lowered it to make it harder for thieves to steal my catalytic converters. I wouldn't want to be driving around without proper emissions equipment."
