GE classes were by far the lamest thing i've ever had to do in my life. Philosophy and Ethics rank up there as my least favorites, especially when your instructor is on the far left side of the political spectrum.

great facilites and most of the instructors are professionals or retired professionals in thier field...
my history of animation teacher was an illustrator for Hanna Barbara for somehting like 25+ years...he was frineds with a guy at Pixar who would come in and help us work on character development. he was the animator who developed Woody and the Dinosaur along with a bunch of other Toy Story characters...it was cool to see him "doodle" and it would look exactly like the caracter from the movie...very cool!
and my Electronic editing instructor worked for a couple big studios and worked with a lot of different movie projects before she came to the academy.
even some of their standard drawing teachers were imported from all over the world becuase they were renound for their work in their country.
it'll cost you, but it's well worth it IMO.
Ah........school.
BA Chapman University, MPA from Golden Gate.....before ya'lls time.
Currently working on an MA from Cal State University Dominguez Hills online in Conflict Resolution...for my own satisfaction and interest (unfortunately, at my expense). I love to be able to pause a lecture to grab a beer though!
Heading off to Vegas for the weekend with the girlfriend. Enjoy!

I worked on their current building (they moved from richmond to Emeryville) for several months. Seeing the stuff they were working on before it came out was pretty cool. They were working on Monsters Inc, and Nemo then.
Lot's of artsy people then you turn the corner and go in to work on the server farm. Darkest server room you ever didn't see.

I have 8 months left on my loan for the long since closed Masters Institute.
Woohoo. All I got from it was an AS in Multimedia Communications. Which is just fancy talk for desktop publishing with some video, 3d, animation, and light programming (more like very light scripting).
