Please don't say that, I'm trying to get myself to work towards getting some schooling done. I'm getting tired of wasting my time, and I'd like to do something meaningful (I.E. pays well) with my time. Ugh.

Hump day gets one hump. uNF.

heh, sorry. I'm actually mostly tired of my GE classes. My English and Ethics class have some seriously deficient people. My government class this semester is awesome, though I think it's really good because it's mostly people aged 20 and up, who work and have some college experience. The only really annoying people in the class are the one 18 year old girl (so opinionated god) and this older guy who is painfully conservative.

I hear the more focused classes, like those for the major are better, but still none of this stuff is really hard. The classes, at least at Sac State, are such that you can do a bare minimum of work and still get As. Just follow the instructors directions and prompts to the letter and you're golden.

All the college talk reminds me of all fun. GE classes are horrible, I agree. Once you are in your major, they are not the complete waste of time. Just make sure you find a major you enjoy.

Who here has graduated? Alma Maters?

Chico State...currently getting my master from Southern Cal.

Therein lies the issue of whether or not I want to push for what I really want (BS in Mechanical Engineering) or just get generic degree, to say that I earned my bachelors'. I don't know if I can function in a college environment after 6 years in the military.

Well, with more advanced job areas like ME, I'd think you'd need a degree to get in doing what you want.

Other areas though, like what I do, you can have a business degree and be just fine.
