Anyways, you have just the NuR cat-back. man I don't think I've heard it in person. I have some knock off cat-back that is an "N1" style it sounds nice I thought it was pretty loud, The silencer totally quiets it. Actually now that the silencer has been in a couple of weeks I noticed my exhaust is even quieter, I guess the heat molded around the silencer and now it's really in there.

It's probably going to be a PITA to get off this spring.

And what if he does cite you and you get a trip to the ref? Can one expect steep fines or a small fine and a requirement to fix the exhaust or....?

My car doesn;t have any cats, so theres no way its gonna pass smog. I've got a buddy who works for a smog shop who says he would pass me....

But the ticket that the cop wrote me was a fix-it so its no biggy but its still a ***** because i want to have my car that loud legally =( oh well.... i put the silencer in and its in for good now... I have actually noticed a small gain in power?? maybe now that i dont have a 3" pipe all the way back my turbo can actually make a tiny bit more power now... i dunno.

 

I'm still counting my blessings. No ticket yet.

Yeah, I have a sport rider mag somewhere with an exhaust comparo article, they tested like 15 exhausts. I think the loudest one was like 108 or something, I'll have to find it.
