Got pulled over for exhaust again

I got pulled over for exhaust again (4th time) =( im so tired of these stupid sound laws... i guess i shouldn't have bought the blitz nurspec exhaust... anyone else have the nurspec or an exhaust as loud as it and are not getting pulled over as much as i am?!? I mean i put the clutch in as much as i can and shift as low rpm as i can when a cop is behind me but every freakin time he pulls me over.. well i guess you gotta pay to play =/

Have you had the decibel level tested? If you can prove the exhaust is legal you shouldn't have any more problems. If the exhaust doesn't pass then it's your own fault for not switching to something quieter.

Do they make a silencer you can put in?

Did the cop just give you a ticket or did he send you to see the ref?

Whats are limit here in Cali, 95db? or 90db? Whats the story with motorcycles? Do they not have to conform to the same sound regulations as cars? I mean most harleys and pocket rockets seem like they are way over 95db. Or is there some technicality about motorcycles not being able to help it because of their rpm levels? Maybe you could just tell the cop you redline at 10k rpms and cant help the sound, if thats the reason

Do you have a black WRX with a pink STI badge on the front? Did you happen to be in the parking lot of the WellsFargo/Chipotle on Friday around 12:40ish (Folsom) cause if that was you, then your car is loud as ****, no wonder you keep getting tickets.

Aren't the Blitz exhausts the loudest around. I've been in a car with a full TBE and it was waaaay to F'n loud. Atleast they make good power

How bout a silencer?

I heard that bikes had a limit as well, I thought it was like 103 or 105 or something. The stock exhaust on my bike said "103db. meets ca. sound requirements" or something like that. or maybe it was 93? I dunno, but it defenitely said "meets ca. sound requirements"

Yeah, NurSpec is stupid loud. TXS RFL is about the only competition it has. Maybe one of the Apex catbacks too.

Sportbikes aren't nearly as bad as Harleys and the like.
