What's the dotmatrix center section?

 

Yeah, the replacement I got did not have the shaded center section. I can think of a few reason why they have it, but none of them seemed too major to me, so I've stopped worrying about the fact that my new windshield doesn't have it.

I only know about STi's. So this may or maynot apply to the lesser models. :ducks:

the '04s had a mini visor above the mirror. For '05 they ditched the visor and put a shaded area on the glass above the mirror. This is where my V1 and alarm antenna hides.

 

hmm, i think i need that 05 glass as well. i like that v1 mounting but, if my crack just goes down the passnger side, i prob won't care abotu replacing it for awhile. mostly since i feel like it won't be long till windsheild number 4 came into play. I-5 from my house to sac is like the big rig route of the world. thank god it's only 2 lanes, and they pass each other going 1 mph faster than the guy their overtaking

 

i found a place for 145 installed plus they come out to you. dont know about stockton area tho but if u r driving to sac, u might as well get it done here. i dont know about for your models but mines is a 99 RS coupe. pricing might be affected by a little bit for bugeyes and up. let me know if yall want the number.
