OMG, you guys are just going to give up 1000 bux? I'm sure.

Bottom line is if I can get outta having to pay money for doing something that didn't harm anyone, couldn't have harmed anyone but myself (my tires could've caught too well sending my 6" lifted truck into a backflip), I'm gonna.

I don't walk out on restraunt tickets, or steal my neighbors newspaper, I have integrity. But I'm also realistic...and I'm not just gonna let go of a towsand dallars in cache money like it's nothing.

to be quite honest, I was only hoping that the judge would lower the bail, but he sympathized with me and decided that he would let me off. and again, the cop was a ****en dick, told me that if he could take my car away, he would, asked me if I was stupid or something, blah blah blah...

Meh that's called morals... not integrity.... integrity is when you man the **** up for your mistakes... morals is when you don't do it to begin with because you know and believe it's wrong

Then again the ony ticket I will ever get is something like rolling a stop sign or going a few mph over the speed limit, I don't do anything stupid anymore on the streets
Hoping for a freebie is different than perjuring yourself. I wouldn't lie to get out of a 75mph ticket (and I got stuck with all 3 of them ) and I certainly wouldn't lie under oath to get out of doing something as retarded as a burnout.

Glad to know that the price of your personal dignity and honor is $1000, or less.

Yeah, you got it. It's one thing to choose to take an action. It's entirely different to try to weasel out of the consequences.

as for that, I'll man up to whatever whenever, unless it's going to cost me money that I need. Hell, if it were a $20 ticket, I would burn out again and pay 50 for his time. I've done some stupid **** that I've had to man up to, no problem with that, my problem was with the $1000 tab...

Integrity: Yes, I'm a weasel. I weaseled out of a $1,000 ticket, and I'm not ashamed of it.

If you know the ticket is $1,000, why burnout in the first place? It's not like burnouts are cool, or make you look cool. You just look like an *** to spectators (unless they're 13 or younger) and risk your $1k in the process. What's the point?

See, the flaw in that logic is that you're ok with doing something wrong if the punishment is minimal.

So, by that logic, you could kill a man, but if there wasn't much of a punishment, it'd be cool? I just had to go to jail for a night, so, big whoop? I just had to lie about it to get out of it.

Different order of magnitude, yes, but the whole point of paying for a ticket is a deterrent. If there's no punishment, there's no effective enforcement. If you aren't comfortable with the consequences of your actions, don't do the ****.

I was in high school, and my truck had around 400hp, so sometimes I would drop it into the low gearing and smash on it, it would almost lift the front tires off the ground. **** was hella fun, immature, but hella fun.

I ain't gonna lie, I'm pretty ****ed up in the head. I have some bad tendencies, not saying that I would kill a man or something, but I think the punishment should fit the crime. As far as $1,000 when my tires aren't even worth that much, roasting them for a few minutes I could see, but I just squeeled em coming off of a red light...

Haha, all this talk and I got a ticket at lunch.

35 in a 25 zone. Whee!
"Do you know why I pulled you over"
"Yeah, I was speeding"
"Yup, 38 in a 25 zone. License and registration please"
"Here you go"
....
"Here's your ticket. I changed it to say 35 in a 25"
"Thanks!"

You should get Paul to write you a letter saying that because you're at such high altitude there's no way your car gets enough air flow to travel at 35mph. I bet you get out of the ticket
