I'm just not into paying 1000 to burn out. I have integrity...but not to a cop who was a ****en dick to me, and to a state that screws me out of a lot of tax money to pay for officers who write me tickets for smog...exhaust...etc, instead of being out there catching the guy who ****en shot a 5 year old girl a couple weeks ago...

Ah, that old argument. Part of living in a society is submitting some control to a government and to the majority (in our democracy). Paying taxes is part of that role - it sucks but a lot of things would break down if we didn't pay taxes.

see. i have plenty of evidence that my clutch was shot. my tires did not squeal and 2 cars behind me were able to take off from the stop sign before he even moved. he also wasnt visible, he was hiding behind a van at the stop sign.

I love how cars today are faster and safer then ever before, yet all of the speed limits keep going down farther and farther, yesterday on the news they where talking about putting a ****ing speed limit on the autobahn... it's ****ign retarded

The way I look at it - you know the consequences (or should) before you break the law. So, when you get stopped for breaking the law, you should pay the ticket. Obviously if it was an unjust ticket, plead your case, but if you know you broke the law, don't lie, and get your buddies to lie in order to get out of it. Pay it, and next time, either don't break the law, or don't get caught breaking the law.

In the US, the main issues are traffic congestion and road quality. Our roads aren't built to nearly the same standards as the autobahn. Add to that a bunch of dumb **** drivers who are eating and text messaging while traveling at 70mph and you're just asking for trouble if you let them go 100 legally.

I would never put forth that much effort to fight a ticket, especially when I was guilty. I would however show up to traffic court to see if I can get a freebie if the cop doesn't show up, or there is some stupid technicallity that i notice off hand that will get me off.... Then again the ony ticket I will ever get is something like rolling a stop sign or going a few mph over the speed limit, I don't do anything stupid anymore on the streets

I think the speed limit on the freeways is perfect for california, since 65 really means 80, and people won't really go over that... but 35 on a 4 lane + a suicide lane on sunrise and 30mph on douglas... that's just ****ing retarded
