Good morning all. I'm going to go hit the trail again today and try and re-build my endurance. The goal is to make all 11 miles without stopping and without bonking.

Bonk —Running out of energy from low blood sugar (what happens when you leave for a morning ride without having had breakfast).

I pushed it a bit hard last week and it had been a while since I had ridden, so even with a good breakfast, I hit a wall.

 

That'll be my goal today too. We're gonna be slow, man

I gotta go load up my car, see you in an hour

I'm back.

Drinking the night before a 10 mile ride = dumb.

With M&M next weekend being the exception, I'm done drinking for a while.

Our wonderful power grid died somewhere over the weekend, taking out my primary drive and all my recent files, and a lot of my backups....arg.

Got your highs, and you got your lows........oh well.

Anyway, ALMS was a blast, even though the weather wasn't the greatest, I had a super-sweet time.

 

ALMS ruled.

I'm glad to say I have now ridden in an award winning SUV.
