Get a bluetooth headset for breaking the law?

interesting..
In effect, if you get ticketed for talking on your cell phone without a headset while driving, pony up the $20 or $50 (depending on how many times you've been caught), then send documentation of your offense to Headsets.com.

The most surprising part? You'll be making a hefty profit by breaking the law. According to CEO Mike Faith, Headsets.com will, for a limited time at least, give away the Plantronics Discovery 925, which retails at $149.99.
"Some people might not be able to afford to upgrade to a headset, and we're not going to give them a low-end one," Faith said.

does the govt require that you have a cell phone? is driving on the streets of this state an unalienable right? no, driving is a priveledge and there are rules that dictate how it is to be done, or you can lose that priveledge or be fined for not following the rules. you CHOOSE to drive, you CHOOSE to talk on your cell phone that you CHOSE to buy. do you want to keep driving while talking on your cellphone? yes? then buy a damn blue tooth and quit your *****ing.

it wont be long before the legislation is changed to include texting and dialing numbers. you can still get popped for that anyways if an officer sees you doing it, but you will be written for a different section of the VC. just an FYI.
