Actually, they do clear Subaru OEM 16s, just not the OEM 16s that came with your car.

Buy Stoptechs. Decent used sets go for around ~1k-1200.

well honestly the only reason why im considering it is because i can get the calipers for about $300.. i agree $600 for rotors, hats and brackets is wayy too much.. im working with a buddy of mine who can(might) get jobber on that stuff, that may cut the costs down a bit.. well see.. i just have this picture in my head like the pic you posted, 6 pots up front would look oh so good

And they'd still work like crap. Why waste money on ****ty brakes when you can get a proven solution that's not going to fall apart and risk the safety of you and your passengers?

i agree with that , i hadnt known wilwood had ****ty brakes til recently.. ive got a couple days to make up my mind THX
