I respect the beliefs and ideologies of other cultures, but I put the freedoms and rights of individuals first (as long as there is a balance with social order). 130 years ago our culture said slavery was okay. Then 90 years ago, the American culture made it so women couldn’t vote. 70 years ago immigrants from Asia still couldn’t own land. 50 years ago, we still had that whole back of the bus thing. 40 years ago interracial marriage was against the law. 30 years ago most deaf Americans were deprived of learning sign language. And less then 10 years ago it was against most state laws to be gay. Culture changes, someone should tell that guy “Welcome to America”.

I don't think there's anything particularly special about that truck in question. To me it looks like one of those Light Service Support Vehicles that AM General buys from Chevy and beefs-up at their facility, except painted Darth Vader Black.

I want one in OD green with the Enhanced Mobility Package, Goodyear MT/R runflat all-terrains FTW! Even better would be a short-bed standard cab with the rear-steer axle feature...just what you need to follow those CJ-5's into the high Sierras!

I think he's a very selfish person that put his own ideas before his daughter. That would be like me going, “I don't want grandma to get senile when she gets old, better get her lobotomized”
Arranged marriage is a cultural thing I don't get but can respect. Forcing women to wear cloths that provide total body concealment 24/7, I shake my head at, but tolerate. What church one gos to is their own thing. But mutilating your two year old daughter's vagina because you’re worried about premarital sex is a point where I draw a line.
