ugh...today is jacked. I just got owned.
Database server nearly tanked and we had to reschedule our failover testing and recycles for tonight, so I had to reboot the standby box just in case. About two minutes after the database server started dying an app server completely tanked so I had to reboot that too.

Nah, rebooting the db server was proactive in case we have to fail the primary to it later today in an emergency. The other one there was nothing you could do BUT reboot it, it was completely dead in the water.

The best part for me about Arizona is that some County's have absolutely NO smog laws, while my county the only smog law was "You had to have a cat" that's it, so in my GTi I had a Porsche 996 TT High Flow Cat, and never got harassed by any cops!!
