so yesterday I was parked in the dirt at the corner of a small intersection (4-way stop sign) on my road. I was sitting there waiting for my girlfriend to come down the road so we could head to my house so I had the engine running and this guy in an old mustang (looked nicely restored) came up to the stop sign off of my road and I was just sitting there staring into space and then I see this guy. He looks like hes in his mid 30's so I figured he'd be kinda mature....nope. He revs at the stop sign, then lets the revs drop and slowly makes his turn. After he straightens out he lets the tires loose....woohoo??? I just dont get.

RE050s are OEM on a lot of cars, like the RX-8, 350Z, etc. Not sure if there is a difference between the "050a" or not. Somewhat grippy tire that has good rain performance but probably wouldn't like being autocrossed or taken to the track.

well I know the re050 pole positions are a stickier compound than the re050a's...so maybe the re050a's are stickier than the re050's. I might use then for an auto-x or two, but just for fun, not for any serious competition
