Car Info: Arm Leg Leg Arm Head
Unfortunately, Blu-ray has backing from several large movie studios and have a much bigger list of supporters than HD-DVD. However, the HD-DVD format is chosen as the next format to succeed the current DVD format by the RDVD council. Last I saw, Best Buy had an HD DVD player on their website. Other people have been importing "High Definition" DVD players from abroad, mostly from China (surprise, surprise). These aren't the HD-DVD/Blue-Ray type players, but their respective manufacturer's own technology trying to jump in the bandwagon, sometimes without the proper licensing from the movie studios. I'll just be happy if either one will display 1280X720, and won't cost an arm and a leg still 6 months after its release.
