Larry:

On which side of the freeway did this happen? I think I missed being involved, literally, by minutes. I headed up to Auburn today and had to get gas first. I was getting on E80 @ Reed at 4:41pm :|

I'm glad you're ok, dude, and it's awesome that you got all of those people out of that car. You saved their lives, man.

I saw them this morning on the way here. I thought the accident might have happened later in the day because when I got to my parents my mom asked if I had seen the accident

Chain-Reaction Crash Snarls Traffic On Interstate 80
7 Cars Involved In Pileup Near Reed Avenue

POSTED: 7:45 am PDT June 20, 2005
UPDATED: 8:05 am PDT June 20, 2005

WEST SACRAMENTO, Cailf. -- A chain-reaction crash snarled traffic on Interstate 80 in West Sacramento Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened near the Reed Avenue exit and involved seven cars.

Investigators said it started when one of the cars rear-ended another.

Some of the cars involved in the pileup caught fire, leaving charred wreckage on the roadway.

Two adults and three children were injured. No one was killed.

"If you wear your seat belts, in a rear-end collision, the air bag is going to deploy saving you from serious injury," California Highway Patrol spokesman Jim Bonilla said.

CHP officers said the crash serves as a reminder to drivers to keep a safe distance between the car in front of them.
Good work, Larry

same here. it pisses me off - I leave a safe distance to avoid a wreck, and every ******* uses the open space to move directly in front of me.

No kidding. Whats even worse, is that I accidentially cut off someone on that stretch of road at like 10am that morning.

Its enough to make me wonder.
