Engine Moving like Crazy After Helix uppipe install
Hey guys i just installed my helix uppipe last night... it took about 6 hours =/
well anyways, i let the car warm up for a good 10 minutes before driving away for hte first time. So i get in the car and I floor it, everything is perfectly fine. I drive back to my house and check the CEL codes with the accessport and see that they are only the P0102 (Mass airflow sensor circuit low input) and P0113 (Intake air temperature sensor cicuit high input) no big deal - this is somewhat normal after uppipe install???
So i turn my car off and let it sit for about 20 minutes and go inside and eat. When i get back in my car i drive it slowly for the first 6 or 7 minutes before i decide to get on it, when i floored it then after i shifted into 3rd my entire car felt like it was jolting up and down, so i quickly let off the gas and it stopped... everytime i floor it now it does this, (not necessarily in 3rd gear).. and it doesn't do it right when i floor it, i could have it floored for about 2 seconds or so then it jolts up and down, the time varies.
At first i thought this happened only when I shifted while hauling ***, but this morning I was in 3rd for a while and then got on it a medium amount and it did it again!! This is really really wierd and i don't know what is causing this. I have a couple speculations as to what is causing the issue:
by the way, here are my mods that affect performance:

I know you guys arent going to be able to tell me what my problem is due to the fact that there are tons of possibilities, my whole point of this post is to brainstorm ideas of what could be wrong with my car so i can check it and eliminate the problem.

Do you have another set of eyes that assist you?
If so, yo can check for Broken engine/motor mounts like this:
1. Open hood.
2. Have assistant stand on the side of the car.
3. Have assistant look at motor while you're maintaining 3k rpm and slowly letting the clutch out.
4. If assistant blurts out, "Holy ****!! The engine is moving...ALOT!!" it's safe to assume that a mount ist kaput
Exhaust leaks usually manifest themselves LOUDLY.
Again, using your assistant:
1. Start your hooptie & let idle.
2. Have assistantstick his/her head in front of the RF wheel.
3. Goose the throtle a few times.
4 If assistant blurts out, "Holy ****!! That's loud!!" it's safe to assume that an exhaust leak has manifested.
Please make sure that you set the parking brake before attempting any of these diagnostics.
"Lo(o)st timing belt due to high horsepower at crank??"
:rotfl:
Sorry, I couldn't help myself....but, no, I'd say nothing has happened to the timing belt. If it skipped a few teeth, you'd definitly know it, as the engine wouldn't run or would run like fecal matter.
Now if neither of these test reveal anything, I suggest you jack the car back up & re-inspect all of your work, paying close attention to anything that you touched/loosened/removed/re-installed.

I was thinking that it could be fuel cust from boost creep, or something to that effect.
But what Oaf said is correct for exhaust leak/engine mount. You can also put the car back up on jackstands and do what we call a security inspection; make sure nothing is loose, all the bolts have nuts on them, nothing is just flopping about in the engine bay.
Or maybe all teh horsepowar broke teh transmission?!?!! NO!

the two cel's you're getting are related to the mass air flow sensor (that's where the intake air temp sensor is btw)... and your car is not running properly right now.
did you double check everything around the MAF? perhaps you damaged something or one of the wires going to it (or it's not installed correctly, not plugged in, etc...)?
