ebay is evil.
the new bid assistant is nice...allows you to bid on multiple auctions (similar items) and once you win one it cancels the rest of your bids for the same items.
i use Auction Auto Bidder to sort and manage all my bids...
also works great for a bid snipper (last 8 secs of auction bids FTW!)
Auction Defender is also a good one and a bit cheaper and better interface.
i have to stay away from that place...i could bid myself into debt way too quickly.
i've kept myself out of trouble by never purchasing anything on credit.

Drinking + eBay is even worse.
One morning I woke up to find an inbox full of "You've just won ...." e-mails. Turns out, when I was drunk I bought about $100 in spoken word records. Everything from some Edgar Alan Poe readings to the Black Panther Stokley Carmichael ranting about something or other to a memorex test recordings.
I've kept them all as a reminder of how dangers drinking and ebaying can be.

that's prolly a GOOD thing.
i remember back when i drank, gambled and i was single i went to Tahoe w/ some friends and we had a hot dealer at the blackjack table who kept flirting with me.
i must have lost over $600 that night over the course of her shift...
and by the end i was so drunk I still failed to get a #.
