I had never been in the area so I decided just to drive around a bit. I ended up going through Stanford Ranch and there's some pretty cool roads there. Not sure if I can get away on the 22nd but if so I'm definitely into taking a little drive with you guys.
A week or so ago I drove up old 49 for a ways but there were just too many people out to have any fun. I've never been up to mosquito ridge, sounds fun.

I think the great benefit of this route is no snow.
Are there any spots to stop along the way with a large group of cars and have a snack and take some pictures? Maybe right near that lake/reservoir?
