I did do a search but couldnt find anything. Just finish installing a downpipe on a friends wrx. But what do you do with the rubber hose that hits the downpipe? How and where do you re-route that hose.

 

We need a bit more description than that, what kind of hose is it, and where is it hitting the DP?

 

He means the drain hose that comes out of the firewall above the downpipe. Basically you can just cut it off close to the firewall, or find a way to tie it back away from the downpipe.

 

Actually just relocate the hose holder bracket to the other hole. The other hole is 3 inches below the orginal hole.

If you come to the toys for tots drive, I can show you where it is.

 

cool thanks for the help. and sorry for the lak of description of the hose. I just kinda ghetto rigged it with some zip ties for now till i found out what to do. but if i can cut the hose close to the fire wall with out any problems, thats what I will do. Thanks for all the help. I am gonna try and make it to the toys for tots drive.

Yea I plan on going every weekend as of febuary (new Lgt hopefully). But I can't make it next saturday, cause I'm going to the JGTC!!!!!
