go with the pde up and down pipe. I havent got a check light with that setup and niether has anyone else that i know have gotten one. also dont go with the hks down pipe you want a bell mouth design the hks does not offer this it looks more like the stock piping minus the cat a slighty larger than stock

Check out this months issue of Turbo Magazine. They have a head to head shoot out with exhausts for the wrx. It will give you a better idea of what you might want to do.

Also uppipe and downpipes are two totally different things from a catback exhaust shootout dont you think?

yea there was a turbo back exhaust shootout in turbo. The hks got really low numbers because of their downpipe. It is complete crap if you want to do any modding. Its practically a stock size pipe w/o the cat. Go with some other downpipe than it, go with the pde uppipe though.

i have a leake at where the down pipe connects to the middle pipe, the place where the blots have springs on them. i don't know what kind of gasket to use. the dealer says i should use a doughnut but the one that used to be on it looked like a flat gasket. i was wondering if anyone knows what kind of gasket i should use and attach a pic

Last time I installed a turbo back exhaust it included a downpipe. If you'll pay more attention to my post you'll notice I wrote turbo-back, not cat back, and like joshface15 said, it was in April's issue. Try to pay attention before you go ragging on someones post.
I think you mean a few months ago... But you can also go to the website to read about it.
