Not at all. I met the AHQ crew a few weeks ago at the BAIC meet.
We....GST, FLI, LIC, dbt...all get along really well, refer business/customers to one another, buy/sell parts to each other, etc.
I've had shops call me & ask if one of their customers could stop by so I could listen to a noise.
I buy parts from FLI all the time.
GST Moike used my dyno to tune his race car.
Moike helped me out by sourcing some 2.0 liter WRX heads.
I refer people to LIC because it doesn't make sense for a customer to drive 2 hrs to my shop change a $10 gasket when LIC is only a 20 minute drive.
You...I mean people of the Greater Bay Area/Sacramento Valley...really have it great with so many shops to choose from.
I hear that I (sometimes) rub people the wrong way.
Some people complain about Greg at GST...which I have a hard time believing.
The bottom line is that the Subaru community benefits when us shops work together.
