Hey, I'm the first person to admit that a bunch of us are callous *******s. including myself. To be perfectly honest, I don't care about the 20% who might be offended when everyone else lets stuff slide, my issue is with seeing someone jumped on for no other reason than that they're new or did something funky to their car or they have an ethnic name on the boards.
And John, before you bring it up, I'm aware of the irony of discussing that particular pack mentality as it's been turned on you and others in the past as well. Here's the problem; you have a sense of humor and can take a joke; you can take abuse and not take stuff personally. I can too, and other people here..........but we can't start treating everyone like they can handle those same types of interactions. That's what I have a problem with.

I know what you're saying about different opinions. That's what gives a board value, and it's one of the things we're trying to preserve and expand by trying to prevent the kind of mentality that's grown to be accepted around these parts, that any new thought is bad. I've surely been a part of the problem in the past, so I'm trying to do wha tI can to correct it.

Yep, he did. That's why I locked that thread, too; sorry I haven't been around most of the day. I'll reopen it if John wants. I had posted initially in that thread after seeing the link and assuming it was someone who knew John offline (and i recognized the car in the profle from DB).
