Losing the WRX will cost Subaru alot of first generation buyers. Buyers that later in life will most likely move to a Legacy or an STi.
Alot of TR owners out there wouldn't be there if it hadn't been for the price.
Dropping the WRX from the Impreza line...is the worst move they can make. If your choice is the Non-turbo or the STi, then they better drop the STi's tag or raise the bar on the N/A.

This is what I think they'll do.
Impreza TS
Impreza RS
Impreza (will be the standard WRX)
Impreza TR
Impreza Limited
Impreza STi
Impreza STi Limited
Once again, just my 2 pennies.

Notice how they don't put the "WRX" badges on the new STi's

The WRX limited is just leather interior and sunroof which I'm sure they'll be making more of those now because that line was introduced with the TR line. Legaccy has a limited edition why not the wrx.
As for the STi limited, they'll still have them next year i think. Just looks at the Legacy Spec B. Those were a limited run of cars that came out in 06. I thought it was a one time run but showed up again in the 07 line. Plus the STi limited is just another line in Japan called the A line so i think it's here to stay in the US. At least I'd hope so.
