I learned of a coffee scandal at work this morning.


We have a kitchen that requires attention. We manage by having each department manage it for a week on a rotating schedule. This past week has been IT's week.

Being the first person in, I do part of the morning set-up. I don't care for putting the fruit and snacks out. So, I make the coffee.

Although I drink the coffee, I have no taste buds for it. Naturally, I ask my coworkers who seem to care about the coffee how my coffee is.

Apparently, I make some strong *** coffee. I think this is a good thing and no one is telling me to explicitly to stop.

Until this morning. The last day I would be making the coffee.


This morning, I come into the kitchen to find one of my coworkers making the coffee.

She goes on to tell me that my coffee is too strong and she's going to make the coffee today. Kinda struck me as odd. She doesn't drink the coffee.

But, whatever. I go to setting up the rest of the kitchen.


Kitchen is done, we're walking back to our desks.

She confides in me, she can't handle the coffee because it causes the other ladies to absolutely blow up the bathroom and she can't handle that today.


If anything, I'd say that this is proof that I make damn good coffee.

 

What kind of scandal? I know the treatment of civet cats to make Kopi luwak is horriable.

Guys at my work make coffee so strong, it looks like syrup, couple weeks ago, someone make coffee so strong that 3 of my coworkers went home sick, this is why i bring coffee from home, hand crafted specifically for me

 

I havnt drank coffee in probably close to two weeks
