Naw, I think we will get better stories out of him if he persists and buys the Mustang. That way he will learn about fishtailing, spinning out and getting stuck in the snow. I meantioned how much better the STI is but he is the type to want to do donuts and he wants to put "Lambo Doors" on his Mustang after he gets it (he hasn't got a clue guys).

tell him the SR4-T is t3h F4ST4R!

is he dumb enough to still be dealing w/ the same dealership????
i'da walked!
FolsomLake Ford here I Come! (If i wanted to be teh ghey and own a Buttstang!)
you should suggest he find another dealership...he could check stock at area dealers & may even find one on the lot (from another retawd who pulled his deposit!)

He says he is dealing with a new dealership (also a "New" Ford dealership as well). Yeah I don't know why I didn't tell him about the SRT4. I should have!

Truth is I really want to see what he does in a High Horsepower Rear Wheel Drive car. I am sure it will be a dissapointment when it is not "fast in a straight line" in the rain ha ha ha (read: it will still be fast, but only in circles lol)! I hope to snap some pictures when the waiting is over, expect them to be "creative" lol.

The funniest part about that story to me is the fact that the guy put a deposit on the car. Desposits mean jack!!

It's all a mental tool to make the customer take mental ownership of the car without having any real tie to the car.

This guy got owned twice.

I was waiting for you to chime in on this.

Long story short:
I put a $2K deposit on a Sienna.
When the dealer kept pushing back the pick up date on Mrs Oaf's Sienna, I politely told the salesman that if the vehicle wasn't in my hands on the date promissed, I'd cancel the order.
"YOU CAN'T DO THAT! YOU PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN! YOU MUST BUY FROM US!"

Two hours later, the dealer called saying that the "delivery truck just showed up & you can pick up the Sienna tomorrow first thing."

:shameless plug: I wish more car sales whor...I mean people... were like Eric. I'd buy a new car more oftener.:shameless plug:
