jesus ****ing christ, timmah, tell me you're kidding. I know I've got a business/econ major background, but this isn't rocket science. Where do you think money is going to come from with lowered taxes? You think the government is goign to have sudden pangs of fiscal responsibility?

No, but they NEED to focus on fiscal responsibility, then lower taxes.

I don't understand how you guys can argue against lowering taxes.......

Because lowering taxes will not = more fiscal responsibility.... therefore... we have less funding for all of the above mentioned categories

I argue with people over the internet, often.

My one hard and fast rule is not to argue with an idiot, becuase pretty soon, people can't tell the difference.

Therefore, I'm not going to comment on your understanding of large-scale fiscal policy moving forward, and just ram my head into the nearest wall, as it will be less painful and have less long-lasting effects on my sanity and level of intelligence.

Cliffnotes: I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.
