This car is a piece...

...of very fine machinery!

Went to the Mercedes dealer with my dad to buy a Christmas/Birthday present for my mom. This is what we drove home with (I wish).

Actually, the sales guy brought us through the garage as a shortcut to get out back and this was just sitting there. We chatted for a bit, he was telling us something about the owner of the dealer being frugal with his money and the son spending the money on cars like this. I wasn't really paying attention so I didn't catch if it was actually the owner's son's car, I was zoned out and just admiring it.

P.S. If any of you talk to my mom, do NOT mention anything to her about us visiting the Mercedes dealer. kthxbye!

Yeah I couldn't imagine spending more on a car than a house is worth. Craziness...

to them a house is worth 5 million + so the price of the car is nothing compared to their house

I've hated the wheels and the front end of that car from day one I saw the pics. I think that Mercedes could have designed a sportier front end, but none can deny the awesome performance that lies beneath. I like these cars a little bit better, as far as outward design goes...

Panoz Esperante GTLM

Weismann GT Coupe

Spyker V8 Laviolette

...and I've always loved TVR's

That Spyker is hot, but the front end makes me think dustbuster.

Yeah a little bit, I like the TVR better, their interiors are pretty unique too, when you sit in one its kinda like "passenger? what passenger?". The whole interior is oriented to the driver with one of the most unique gauge setups ever...
