Yeah. All from different iterations of the boxer motor (except the Justy, which was an tranverse mounted inline 3cyl, and the 360 which was an inline 2cyl).

Unless they plan on desigining a completely new engine bay (not uncommon on a new car), engine and transmission (much less likely), I don't see a inline 6. An H6 is a possibility, I guess, but I don't see it unless the WRC changes its rules in such a way to either allow a 6cyl (unlikely) or they disallow the Impreza from competiting (slightly more likely).

They need a BlacK STi with Midnight Blue racing stripes. I'd be all over that. That red and white isn't bad either.

 

Racing stripe has much ghey! Do they want Subaru's to get mistaken for neons again. Racing stripes are ghey in any color.

 

that's pretty ugly... the racing stripes are corny and the esx badges aren't too appealing ... i think id rather drive a regular wrx than this
