"California Edition" STI
Just read the new Subiesport and I saw in here that in Jan. 05 ESX and Subaru are bringing out a new STI. Supposed to have 425 hp, SPT performance upgrades, touch-screen navigation, red interior, white ESX stripes sounds really nice! Here is some more info: http://www.imprezawrxsti.com/postnuk...067&highlight=

At GT Live, ESX had a tent setup and they had the "Signature Series" WRX STi. It had most of the features you are mentioning and a 3.9 second 0-60 mph time. I asked what the pricing would be and, according to the guy working the booth, he was approximating around $50k. Last time I checked out EasyStreet's site, they didn't have any info on it.
Hope that helps.

They talk about it in the new issue of Subiesport. It says they will be only releasing a limted quantity though. There is no mention of it on ESX's website but it says there will be more info on it soon. All i want is that navi!

so pretty much the "Type-R" model of the STi. Very few are made, hella faster then the regular ones, special looks. I wonder how many will be made per year and if you'll get a badge with a number on it (like the 1500/year with the Type-R)

Yea, theres no way I'm going to lay down $50K for an Impreza. Now matter how expensive they make it, it will always have that "Affordable" Feel to it. That's a nice way of saying that no matter how fast it goes or how much they want for it, it will always have that sub $25K cheap car interior. Plus, all you'll ever hear from anyone is: "Damn that thing is fast...but it's still just an impreza. Did that guy really spend $50K on that thing?".

yea people already give me crap for spending 35k on an sti what would they say if i spent 50k on one?? And I don't think they are coming out with any other colors for it because it is supposed to be like a replica of the esx one i guess.
