your point? someone needs to take a math class

150,000 tropps in iraq / 300,000,000 people in the US = .05% of population

1,112,684 current active duty / 300,000,000 = .37%

1,250,00 total individuals have served / 300,000,000 = .41% of population

versus

3 kids / 435 house or rep = .68%

3 kids / 535 (house+senate)= .56%

and, iirc... its 5 senators that have military kids.... seems to me to be an accurate demographic

**edit**

i was only able to locate 2 senators i could confirm are veterans, Ralph Regula and Jim Webb. so 2/535= .37%, the same as active duty population vs total pop

Yeah. I was just going to have 06 wrx rotors on all four corners. I'm about to take the pads and stuff out of the calipers and clean them up a bit because I'm bored and finally done with my last damn assignment for the semster!!

02-06 wrxs share the same front rotors, so those arent 100% necessary if you already have decent front rotors ( wouldnt hurt though)

but you spout made up **** all the time as fact. what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

lets look at this article you posted...

"nearly half" still isn't most. it's nearly half. that means that more than "nearly half" are not coming from "lower-middle-class to poor households". and they're basing that solely on county and zip code. look around sacramento, in most zip codes you can find both ends of the spectrum when it comes to income.

yeah but kids are just dumber in general these days, as you demonstrate daily.

nothing in the last 2 pages supports your arguments other than pointing out that Martinsville is a poor town.

and apparently kids in your amazingly smart generation don't know how to make arguments without personal attacks, everyone has their views... I just tend to support my views with facts, not what someone says on the T.V., and I would consider a report done by the pentagon to be pretty factual Guess i'm stupid

When I joined the Army, my mom was poor, but my grandparents were/are millionaires...offered to pay my way to the college of my choosing.

A customer of mine was in the **** in Iraq...his mother is loaded.

I knew dudes that didn't have a pot to **** in before they enlisted...remember, it's voluntary military..and loved the Army.

The point is this: anyone of those soldiers...that volunteered...are twice, nay, three times the man of many of us here.

And anyone that denegrates that fact is weak.

John:

There are plenty of rich/middle class folks in the south, just as there are plenty of poor folks in the city.

I agree with that, which is why i have the upmost respect for anyone who joins the military, and anyone who doesn't support them should get their *** kicked... The reason I like the chorus isn't so much the money thing, it's the fact that politicians throw their lives and not think twice about it(which i guess is sorta what you sign up for) I just which we utilized the troops for a just cause, not someone personal vendetta... I'm all for blowing the **** outa afghanny world still, but not police a country and try to imperialize it into our way of beliefs

and paul right, but the south doesn't exactly hold ground against the rest of the world...
