I've got the original pics somewhere, the 40" was a photoshop; the car was actually running on 26's back in like 2000 and had 26" logos on the doors, which was just as unbelievable back then. At that time, Yoko was the only one who could mount those tires.

i knew they were huge...
and i know it was pre-spinna era.
it happened 2 years in a row though (99-00), w/ the toyo isuzu trooper and the yok lex the next year.
kinda a "one up" type deal.
