beware of exploding windows on 5
so i was coming home from work on 5 today around 4:45, goign about 70-75, when i see a bike cop on the shoulder, then look back in front of me, and all of a sudden millions of shards of glass are flying at my car! the ****ing mini van in front me(about 2 car lengths up) somehow had their side window explode ,going about 80 on the freeway and shower my car with so many ****ing rock chips i probably have to get my almost my whole car repainted.the hood is horrile, fenders jacked, doors slightly, roof chipped up,even the rear has some chips. to boot my windsheild is pitted like a high school kids face! and like a genious i didn't think about getting the license plate number as i stopped(so pissed off and stunned, i was ready kill someone) and they sped off like nothing happened. i do know it was a ford windstar. i don't think there's anything i can do about it ,but make a claim, and find out if the chp had any reports of a van with a broken window. anyone want to donate to the pay for my deductable fund? i be broke, so i'll be chipped up for a good while 
and i just waxed my car on wed .... ahhhh ****....guess i better start diggin the glass out of my intercooler...

oh damn! at least i got 2+years in her...yeah photbucket be owning my image size. got any others that don't resize for my non interent sauve ***?...i feel like i'm being punished for taking pride in my wax job

Maybe this is related but Saturday morning around 2am on southbound 5 before downtown, I saw about 6-8 cars on the side of the road all with some sort of damage on them. A couple of flats and some guys ended up crashing to the siderail. I also saw an 18wheeler with a missing front tire. 
I hope this is no stupid game people are playing.

at first i thought it was the cop shooting at them or something, then irealized it was a speed gun there was no overpass, i think they just had some stuff in their van that hit the window. i've been goign down 5 for a lomg time and always see crazy ****, i was due for something to happen to me

About 2 years ago, I was driving down on I5 when a 72lb board flew off of a truck and went straight through my windshield hitting me straight on the chin, almost knocking me out.
Good to know that I can take a hit like that and still stand...
