it is correcting itself, it is a gradual process. once people realize that there are shops that wont try and rob you of your college funds but still do a bang up job they'll forget all about the dealership, and i think BMW SHOULD charge more..god damn belgians....

lmao @ double Phister. awesome.

atleast you got everything new and from a dealer so hopefuly you have some recourse if you have things go bad. Local shops are cool and cheaper but they seem to never want to take responsibility for there mess. I personaly like GST over others here, I would try them if I was getting a used part installed or rebuilt.

This is patently false at DBTuned; If we cause the **** up, we fix it.
Have you ever done business here at DBTuned?

Now, if you're cheap & are using used parts, why should the installing shop warranty the part?
Was part of the problem caused because the customer insisted on just putting a "band aid" on the problem?

OP: How do you drive your car?
How many transmissions, if more than one, have you gone through?

I don't quite understand how you feel that you got burned. There was work done on the car at some point, before you owned the car, and somehow that equates to Paul doing you wrong?

Since you knew that Paul worked on the car before, did you try to contact him before bending over at the dealership?

Did you think you would just pay out the huge chunk of cash and then complain about it after instead of trying to do something before emptying your bank account?

Can you show me where I said DB tuned? I have never done business with you and after this probably wont either. I guess some stories about your attitude are true. I never said anything about you , I was just making a general statement about my experiences with repair and tuner shops.

I guess you missed your blanket statement that you made previously

If you'd like, pm me the last name of the previous owner & I'll look in to it.

Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers, but you did say:

Since this is the Sacramento Area and I'm in the Sacramento area, so I kinda took your comments personally.
If being brutally honest makes me have an attitude, then so be it.
When right, I'm right.
When wrong, I'll tell you that I'm wrong.

Things I will never do to a customer:

1. Lie
2. Cheat.
3. Steal.
4. Sell them parts that only put money in my pocket.
5. Use fear or intimidation to sell goods/services.

I guess it is just my old age, but people who are honest rarely feel the need to make there points with this much fervor. I dont live in Sacramento area so I am not a prospect regardless, but personality is a big issue when it comes to people looking to forge a relationship with a business.

Good luck to you.

I've seen denial - that's not Paul. I know what you're saying, but you also have to understand how hard it is for a stand-up business to stand out in this industry.

Don't trust us, ask Moike next time you're at GST about Paul's business ethics.

you must have misunderstood my point..

i dont feel that i was burned by paul in anyway, i was saying everything BUT the transmission was in great shape, everything that was documented on the maitenence list is still in good working order. and it was not ' work ' it was an 80k maintanence.

i felt like i was burned by the previous owner(s). riding the car like a dirty hooker then slangin it off to me.

also... i am not complaining, i am sharing my poor expirience with anyone else who would consider going to autowest. which i guess no one will because dbtuned is the most reputible shop around.

i apologize for the misunderstanding.
