Several things I want to mention. OP did said some incriminating things but not all members show sympathy.

I can see how it's intimidating to post in SRIC, especially if they don't know the "core" group at all. Hell, I don't know everyone but have met enough of you guys that while I know if I do say something that's gay or whatever, I'll eat it for sure but that's just the way it goes. It's expected, haha.

You should always be weary of what you post, not just in SRIC but anywhere online for that matter.

The mob effect may be a stronger mentality here but you'll get that anywhere, honestly.

That's all from the SRIC newbie, time to negotiate the release of some chocolate hostages.

You're right but that's the problem here. If you look at the quotes I posted those people acknowledge that there is **** talking online. They then go on to say that SRIC takes it to a new level. I don't think that's a good rep to have. Frankly, and this is not intended as a threat so I hope no one takes it as such, but the level and frequency of noob bashing here would have resulted in bans on any other forum I can think of (except maybe the *chan forums but you can't really compare them to here).

Russ pointed out the age differences, and we realize that, however I think the bashing that goes on here represents a significantly more immature age group than truly exists.

I agree that it can be pretty hostile on here at times, but people get way too butt hurt. I've been flamed every now and then but it has never really kept me away from I-club. If anything, it has thickened my skin a bit.

I see what you're saying. Is it okay if it's somewhat warranted? I mean, I felt bad for the guy but the 4 points on his record didn't help the cause.

One time, many, many moons ago, I caused this mustang to ride up a curb from braking. Not brake-checking, mind you, but the guy in front of braked, I braked, and the guy behind me slammed on his, making him lose control. He rolled down his windows, waving a ****ing crowbar at me telling me to get out of the car. He chased for at least 10mins and I had to do some major evasive maneuvering to lose his ***.
