Crappy situation. Hope all goes well. No one is perfect 100% of the time, but you might have wanted to give Paul a chance to explain before busting out the flame thrower.

Mr Ryan Stover:

Can you please provide me an invoice number for the boost control solenoid as I want to make this right;if you paid for a part and did not receive it, I owe you some money.

As a general comment....It should be common courtesy, respect and good business sense to communicate these situations to the builder/tuner first and allow him the opportunity to resolve such matters (regardless of your emotions). Business's ability to address problems, stand behind their work and learn from the experience matters as much, if not more, than the actual work...especially for ones dealing with modified cars where unpredictable things can happen.

Good luck getting your situation resolved.

+1 Really though!!! b4 u go and ruin a good tuners reputation... my buddy got a tune done from paul on his 06 wrx with only a vf39 and pinks and had it running 12.8 on the quarter mile and that thing is reliable as hell he's put over 80k on it since the tune and has just over 100k on his car now so ur telling me a guy who set up a car that runs 12.8 reliably for over 80k doesnt know what hes doing???? something doesnt add up here

On a serious note. I trust Paul 100% with my car along with my girlfriends. I have had my car in his shop, more than once, and he has also tuned my car.. that was a little over a year ago and my car is running as nice as ever. I will continue to give Paul my business and refer friends to his shop as well.

How long after your tune by Paul was your car not running right? How hard/often do you drive you car? Do you do ANY work on the car yourself?

I think that most people reading this thread know that Paul is a great tuner/mechanic and that he knows his **** when it comes to subies. This meaningless thread is not going to hurt anyone's reputation, besides maybe the person that posted it. Maybe your bad experience is your own fault. Who knows? Next time, address those that you point fingers at before you try to flame them. Thank you.

If there was any problem with the car why not have gone to paul first before going to "tuner x" and also before posting it on a forum like this? Ive visited pauls many times and i know for a fact if you called him up and said "hey paul my car doesnt seem to be running right", he would probably just tell you to come in so he can check it out.

it was much easier to listen to someone else as they whisper sweet nothings into your ear about your car.

although thats a funny picture, I do not understand the similarity between TKing and tuning Subarus.
