Don't be idiotic.

They have car busts all the time. My Dad had a detail last week for street racing. He use to be on the detail for street bikes on Thursday nights. Just watch out and be smart.

its not being idiotic when its true

are you telling me that if you get on the bad side of a cop (99% of the time you are when you are pulled over driving an import) you are not at the complete mercy of that officer not to impound or send you to the state ref just because he can.

QFT....

and in the rocklin/roseville area. If you drive any sort of import.. you will be pulled. And 90% of the time, not get off your ticket.

99% of the time? No where close. You get on the bad side of a cop for 1.) Driving like a complete idiot 2.) Being an ******* 3.) You're a Parole.

I've been with my Dad on a ride along when a civic on the other side of the road was going atleast 10MPH over the speedlimit. This car had the Z3 fenders, exhaust and everything you would expect. We pulled him over and it turned out the guy was late for work and said he was sorry. He drove off with nothing.

Any time you are pulled over and you put yourself on the bad side, they are gonna try to **** you. If you were a cop and someone was being a complete dick, you would do the same. They're not gonna try to impound your car for nothing either. Its illegal. They have to put something in the report saying why they pulled you over and what gave them the right to impound your car (4th Amendment: Search and Seizure) or send it to the ref.

You're at the mercy of a cop no matter what kind of car you drive if you are doing something illegal.

bull ****ing ****... you are telling me a cop has NEVER pulled someone over who was driving/acting perfectly legal...

say a black male in a piece of **** beater car is driving through a rich white neighborhood following every traffic law, looking at all the houses... the cop isn't gunna pull him over to see what he is doing...

Hell i was walking down the street one day at 2 in the morning and I was 19, so I am perfectly legal and a cop pulled over and asked me what I was doing, where I was going etc etc...

you are at the mercy of every peace officer no matter what you are or aren't doing

and so basically you are now agreeing with my previous statement...

What else do you think a cop should do when he sees someone walking down the street at 2 in the morning? Just assume you're not a car theif? When cops see something suspicous, they're going to ask questions and being out at 2 in the morning is.

Its legal to have and use a door jimmy right? Now, would you expect a cop to ask someone questions when he sees someone trying to use a jimmy to open a car door during the day?

And in no way did I agree with your past statement. I don't know where you came up with that.

according to your previous statement, the cop shouldn't stop you because you are technically doing something 100% legal
