Sorry man, you *don't* get it. Where were you in '01 when the WRX came out? 'Cause *that* was the beginning of the end.

As much as I love the WRX and the STi, those cars brought the mainstream to Subaru. This failure has been a long time coming. People like LFP, BV96, and you (it seems) are just symptoms of the fact that people have left their hondas, DSMs, 240s, etc and moved over to Subarus, bringing with them their egos, bull****, bad grammar, and "import lifestyle". It's a big deal to many of us because we worked very hard building the Subaru scene, and we worked hard to prevent it from becoming the same crap that you see on NOPI TV. Failing sucks... especially when your work gets inherrited by a bunch of classless fools.

Never did I think I'd see a Subaru on a magazine w/ "import models" draping themselves all over it and e-thugs talking **** about how fast their Impreza was.

You're both right.

The WRX is my track car. The SVX is my daily driver. And I'd trade 'em both for a 22b that's not as fast as the track car, and not as nice as the daily driver.

that's what i figured, just thought it was weird seeing his car, then hear him talk about the 01+ subarus being the end of the era, i figured he would spend his money modding an older subby

I don't think they'd be fast or fun enough for him.

ewwww, ide never own a honda, dsm or 240. what it this "import life" you speak of? if you knew much about us, youde know that i came from a domestic background, and have stayed that way actually. i have been a member of sacstangs for longer than i have been a member on any other forum. and what i find extremely funny, is that the guys on that forum give a fast suby (johns car) waaaaaaay more respect than most of suby sites, mainly this one.

i love subarus, but unfortunatly the cars are tainted by their stuck up owners.

so ill stick to loving the cars subaru offers us, but ill stick to the domestic crowd.
