I also found out (in GT3) that the analog stick can turn the tires faster than the D pad. Before that I prefered the dpad over the stick.

The pedals don't slide with the GT4 wheel. Much better wheel than the older version.

So, I outright paid for the game and picked it up at 3:30 right behind the rest of the ricers who paid for theirs. Good game, so far. Trying to get all the licenses just using the wheel, but something seems to be wrong with the brake pedal sometimes. I've heard Logitech has great customer service so I'll be going through them first, before trying to deal with some of the moronic Best Buy employees.

lol.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Logitech has some of the _worst_ customer service in the digital world. Their products are amazing, from the wireless PS2 controller & the wheel to the mx500 & 1000 mice, but their customer service is atrocious...

Played for a couple of hours last night and the number of cars is just staggering. One cool feature, if you have your memory card from GT3 you can transfer up to 100,000 credits over and any licenses you already earned. They money was cool but I only had A + B licenses, I have always sucked at the licenses.

I am rollin' in a WRX STi Spec C. I never even knew there was a Spec C.

I need to find a way to unlock that Hemi Super Bee.... Droool...

I can appreciate that, but if memory serves me correctly, that is one experience I will pass on. I always thought the license tests were really hard. I must admit, it is kind of fun racing the Sunday cup with an 1990 Civic with 90 hp and a can of angry bees!

In the previous games I would max out a car and use the winnings to by a car but not any mods. I had to earn mod money from the new car. It took longer but I like how it worked out.

Ug, I got owned last night. I finally decided to break down and get a copy and a PS2 as well....

well, I found the game, but I couldn't find a console to buy. I went to Walmart, Gamestop, Target, CompUSA, EB, Toys'R'Us, Best Buy, Walmart (a different one), Circut City and finally the Good Guys before I gave up and went to dinner.

Luckily BAN SUVS let me borrow his PS2.

I've read from several people on gtplanet that Logitech shipped them replacement wheels without even asking for the broken ones back first. In any case, I have no patience to wait for a replacement wheel to come back. I'm just going to go back to Best Buy and exchange it for a another. If they give me any guff I'll throw the damn thing through their plasma screens. Now Best Buy... they've got one of the worst customer service from personal experience.
