I also found out (in GT3) that the analog stick can turn the tires faster than the D pad. Before that I prefered the dpad over the stick.

The pedals don't slide with the GT4 wheel. Much better wheel than the older version.

So, I outright paid for the game and picked it up at 3:30 right behind the rest of the ricers who paid for theirs. Good game, so far. Trying to get all the licenses just using the wheel, but something seems to be wrong with the brake pedal sometimes. I've heard Logitech has great customer service so I'll be going through them first, before trying to deal with some of the moronic Best Buy employees.
lol.
I hate to burst your bubble, but Logitech has some of the _worst_ customer service in the digital world. Their products are amazing, from the wireless PS2 controller & the wheel to the mx500 & 1000 mice, but their customer service is atrocious...

Played for a couple of hours last night and the number of cars is just staggering. One cool feature, if you have your memory card from GT3 you can transfer up to 100,000 credits over and any licenses you already earned. They money was cool but I only had A + B licenses, I have always sucked at the licenses.
I am rollin' in a WRX STi Spec C. I never even knew there was a Spec C.
I need to find a way to unlock that Hemi Super Bee.... Droool...

Ug, I got owned last night. I finally decided to break down and get a copy and a PS2 as well....
well, I found the game, but I couldn't find a console to buy. I went to Walmart, Gamestop, Target, CompUSA, EB, Toys'R'Us, Best Buy, Walmart (a different one), Circut City and finally the Good Guys before I gave up and went to dinner.
Luckily BAN SUVS let me borrow his PS2.
