I've never had a problem doing that with my iPod

I just turn on disk mode, copy the files to my work computer, turn off disk mode for when I go back home, and play songs in iTunes at work. You don't even need to use iTunes if you don't have any DRM songs.

I figured it out in 4 seconds.

I figured out its totally unnecessary & convoluded and i figured out i never wanted to use it again. I hate being forced to use software that isnt necessary at all and itunes falls into that category.

Its not that its hard to use or difficult its just that i dont WANT TO ****ING HAVE TO USE IT to do something as simple as transfer files..

What if everytime you wanted to move a file in windows explorer you had to open a separate program & click 5 different buttons to do it... its totally unnecessary.

drag & drop > 5 button clicks

My Gen 2 let's me use MusicMatch or Itunes.
If I'm not happy with any of those official methods then there are plenty of third party apps (ephpod, anapod, etc.) that get the job done.

The problem with the other players is the lack of aftermarket accesories.

Hey, I own just as many PCs as I do Macs.

Funny thing is, though, is that I use iTunes on PC more than on Mac

You know you are lazy when.... you are complaining about moving your wrist a few more times and moving your index finger down to press a few more buttons can get you into a rant
