CarFax, not CarMax. Carfax as in title research to check for salvage/damage etc.

Oops, my bad. I was in a hurry to post-up before I ran out the door from work to go home.

I'll go back and fix it.

It's really not necessary to go back and change posts, except for broken code or typos that are meaningful and stuff. I generally never change what I've said in a post, including when I've made mistakes in a tech thread, as long as it was corrected later in another post.

Car Info: 03 blue Evo - sold, 97 Eclipse GST - sold
I do not know about buying, but do not sell your vehicle there. They only gave me an offer for 20500 for my 03 Evo with 22k on it. I sold it back to the dealership for 23200. I also went back to see what they would give me on my 97 Gst with 68k on it. Mint cond., put back to stock. they offered like 4800 for it??? I sold it on my own for 8500. My opinion, but **** Carmax!

You can't compare private party values with wholesale quotes. CarMax is a business, and they only make money by buying and selling cars.
