my boss bought tickets for the entire company, so we're all going.
supposed to be a big event.
didn't know if there was gonna be anyone else there too.
maybe we could meet up for lunch?

How much is it and what's the purpose?

 

the event is sold out (has been since mid-january)

it is a Get Motivated seminar.
business related but most can be life application principals that translate far beyond business.

some of the topics are gonna be business/management/negotiation/people skills, increased productivity and time management.
it is all day (8-5). if you're interested, i can see about getting you a ticket.
my boss knows a few people that bought blocks (100 seats) and may have some spare tickets floating around.

 

wasnt it like $50 per company for as many employees as you wanted ?

 

Thanks, but I wouldnt' be able to get the day off on short notice.

 

yeah, something like that. basically, they were selling blocks of 10 or 15 for the $50.
we got one block. enough for all us plus a couple business associates of my boss.

i actually talked my way out of it...
i wasn't stoked on going, and being there at 7:00am (meaning i have to get up at 5:00 after having a 6 day stretch of 2hours of sleep/night).

i was just wondering if anyone was gonna be there so i could make it a little more fun than sitting for hours to listen to a bunch of sales stuff.

so, instead, i will be working all alone in the office tomorrow.

I went to stockton yesterday it was cool... not as good as the one a couple years ago and had lunch with bill .....monica didn,t make it though!!!!
